Who We're Looking For (Position Overview)
Spry Methods is looking for a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to support our work with the United States Marine Corps. You'll be given an opportunity to work with the Headquarters Marine Corps Deputy Commandant for Information, working with the Chief Information Officer to develop the tactics, techniques, and procedures that govern how the Marine Corps secures and operates their network.
  • You will conduct in-depth analysis of significant security processes, IT security issues, and provide recommendation and assistance in all areas of information system security and privacy policy and program management for Marine Corps applications and systems.
  • You will assist in creating policy, metrics, and dashboards to be viewed by division and department leadership.
  • You will establish Cybersecurity policies to protect the organizations IT infrastructure, networks, and data from cybersecurity risks.
  • You will provide support and assistance during an audit or review; along with management, attend various audit meetings with both internal and external stakeholders
  • You will assist management with the review of and response to audit findings and recommendations, ensuring that responses are accurate, comprehensive, and accurately reflect the position of Headquarters Marine Corps.
  • You will assist management in developing strategies for effective and efficient implementation of audit recommendations; they communicate with management regarding the progress of the implementation.
  • You will provide support to the continuous monitoring and assessment of information systems in monitoring schedules and gathering evidence as requested.
  • In order to join our team, candidates will meet the following requirements:
  • Active DOD SECRET Clearance 
  • At least 6 years professional experience in Cybersecurity practice
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity and Audit policy, including MARADMINs, MCBULs, and ECSMs
  • Ideally, our new team members will have experience supporting the Marine Corps or Department of Navy in developing policy and will be familiar with the staffing and routing process for distribution.  Experience writing at the Federal / DOD  Headquarters level will be very advantageous.  Experience helping Federal agencies or DOD Services with Audit findings and remediation will also help.
