We are a Data Collection team focused on improving smart home devices and features through high-quality data. The data we collect supports machine learning training, evaluation, testing, and performance benchmarking, helping teams develop new capabilities and improve detection quality for customers.
We recreate real-world scenarios and edge cases in various indoor and outdoor environments using both production and pre-release devices. We also perform comparative analysis of device motion detection performance across different generations, generating insights that help determine device readiness for mass production.
We are looking for a Data Collection Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will deep-dive into the specifics of smart home device functionality and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence device/feature performance/detection quality improvement. This role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of two fields: Technical Quality Assurance and field production (similar to debugging and shooting on a cinema set).
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, creative in finding technical solutions, and resilient to changing external factors.
