The Casino Cage Cashier plays a crucial role in the smooth and efficient operation of a casino. Cashiers are responsible for performing cash transactions with accuracy and ensuring the proper handling of funds. The Casino Cage Cashier serves as the main point of contact for guests who need to exchange chips, vouchers, or tickets for cash. Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to strict gaming regulations and maintaining the highest level of integrity.
Responsibilities

· Maintain confidentiality of all casino operation data
· All Cage transactions occurring during the shift which include but are not limited to the following:
- Process Cash Transactions: Handle cash exchanges and accurately count and verify the funds received from customers, including chips, tickets, and vouchers.
- Maintain Cash Drawer: Safeguard and balance the cash drawer throughout the shift, ensuring accuracy in calculations and recording transactions.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Assist guests with cash transactions, answer inquiries, and address any concerns or issues promptly and courteously.
- Follow Regulatory Guidelines: Adhere to all gaming regulations, including verifying the age and identification of customers, reporting suspicious activities, and following anti-money laundering protocols.
- Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as the casino floor staff, security, and surveillance teams, to ensure a seamless flow of cash operations.
- Maintain Cash Handling Equipment: Operate and maintain cash handling equipment, such as currency counters and coin sorters, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Stay Updated on Casino Promotions: Understand and communicate casino promotions and assist guests in redeeming promotional offers or vouchers.
- Uphold Security Measures: Adhere to strict security protocols and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information and transactions.
- Issuing jackpot, preparing regular bank deposits, POS transactions, maintaining guest files and records
- Bingo services and tournament registration
- Promotes outstanding guest relations internally and externally
- Other duties as directed by management
