A Human Resources Generalist exhibits organizational and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates self-motivation, leadership, and ability to make decisions regarding work responsibilities.  Reports directly to the Manager of Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the areas of employment/recruitment, personnel records, insurance benefits, safety training and employee/ labor relations
  • Conducts new employee orientations and ensures personnel are informed of policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate completion of new hire documentation and compliance requirements
  • Maintains and updates employee files and ensure records are in compliance with State, Federal and Company policies and procedures.
  • Assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment changes
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of employee information
  • Follows company policies and procedures in providing the most accurate information in a confidential manner
  • Responsible for administering and maintaining FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leaves throughout the company.
  • Assist with conflict resolution and performance improvement process
  • Coordinate employee separations, exit interviews, and final pay processes
  • Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

Must be a team player

  • 1-3 years of experience in the Human Resource field
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field
  • Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be attentive to detail, able to multitask, and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Required to meet scheduled metrics, standards and/or goals
  • Must be a team player
