From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
Starbucks is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Analysis Manager to join the Integrated Logistics Accounting team. This role is responsible for providing accounting leadership and financial stewardship for Starbucks' Transportation and Freight Pay operations. The position partners across Supply Chain, Transportation, Accounts Payable, Technology, and Finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain a strong control environment, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support a growing and complex business

The position is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, driving process improvements, and maintaining a strong control environment through ownership of key SOX controls. It also requires exercising significant judgment in reviewing monthly accruals and accounting estimates provided by Finance teams, ensuring financial results are complete, accurate, and compliant with accounting policies. In addition, the role serves as a key liaison across Transportation Operations, Technology, Finance, and third-party service providers to resolve operational and system issues that impact the timely and accurate payment of freight invoices.

• Identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations that support accurate financial reporting and sound business decisions.
• Support internal and external audit requirements and maintain a strong control environment.
Business Partnership & Process Improvement
• Serve as a trusted accounting advisor to Supply Chain, Transportation, Accounts Payable, Technology, and Finance partners.
• Partner with third-party service providers and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve operational and financial processes.
• Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and scale accounting processes.
