The role will provide leadership across PMO functions, service systems, process optimization, operational analytics, and capability development while partnering closely with Planning, Network Optimization, Distribution, Transportation, Technology, and Store Operations teams. As a director, planning & business operations, you will… Lead Center of Excellence - Build and lead a scalable Continuous Improvement CoE that drives standardization, governance, and operational excellence. Drive Program & Portfolio Governance - Establish governance and execution disciplines that ensure strategic initiatives deliver measurable business value. Enable Operations Excellence - Implement standardized processes, performance management, and root-cause solutions to improve operational performance Advance Analytics & Insights - Leverage data, analytics, and technology to generate actionable insights and support better business decisions. Build Organizational Capability - Develop continuous improvement capabilities, leadership effectiveness, and a culture of disciplined execution across the organization. We’d love to hear from people with: Education (minimum education level, degree or certification necessary): bachelor’s degree · Advanced experience with core technology tools like Microsoft office, & virtual collaboration tools · Progressive experience in business process design and leading multiple large program or project implementations within a large, global company: 5 years · Budgeting, planning and managing projects and programs: 5 years · Business system and process development: 5 years · Working across organizational boundaries at all levels, including executive positions: 5 years · Manage large teams both reporting direct or indirect As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
