LEAD ICE RINK ATTENDANT

Are you passionate about ice sports and customer service? The St. Peters Rec-Plex, home to premier figure skating and hockey programs, is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Lead Ice Attendants. With three NHL-sized ice rinks at Rec-Plex North and two more at Rec-Plex South, we offer an exciting and dynamic work environment.

Summary of Position

Lead Ice Attendants have the responsibility to perform varied duties in the ice areas to include responding to customer needs, supervising and assisting with training of employees, assisting in assigning duties, operation of the ice resurfacing machine and ice edger, ensuring ice areas are clean and well maintained, and performing other assigned tasks as required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure guests adhere to department and facility policies
• Assist with guest inquiries
• Ensure patron safety and provide excellent customer service
• Assist with special events as needed
• Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations, administering first-aid if necessary

Qualifications or desired qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Motor Vehicle Operator's license valid in the state of Missouri
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings/mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to physically participate in activities and adapt to various situations
• Must be able to successfully complete training on the ice resurfacing machine and ice edger

This position is eligible to receive a $1.50 shift premium for hours worked as Lead, and/or eligible to receive a $5.00 shift premium for hours worked as Lead Driver.
