Project Architect

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•Manage the Architectural and Engineering designs consultants to successfully deliver high profile special projects and infrastructure developments across the Bank and its subsidiaries.
• Oversee the implementation of design solutions (including spatial arrangement, interior design and urban/estate design) to achieve high standards of functionality and aesthetics across Bank and its subsidiaries.
• Ensure that all design projects align with organizational objectives, brand consistency, and operational efficiency.
• Liaise with external (Architectural and Engineering consultants) and internal stakeholders, including Head Office departments and bank subsidiaries, to provide design support services tailored to their needs.
• Coordinate with external consultants, vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with industry standards.
• Facilitate communication between project teams and senior management, providing updates on project milestones and challenges.
• Oversee the development of design proposals, feasibility studies, and project plans.
• Ensure quality control measures are in place for all projects, maintaining high standards in materials, construction, and finishing.
• Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations for improvements or necessary adjustments.
• Track and report on design targets and project execution, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
• Provide regular updates on key metrics, such as design phases, construction phases and preoccupation phases to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze completed projects for lessons learned and apply insights to future initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 
Education 
▪ B.Sc. Architecture; M.Sc. Architecture and Certificate in Interior and Urban designs as added 
advantage.
▪ Professional Certifications: MNIA, ARCON, PMP (Project Management Professional)
Experience 
▪ Minimum experience: 10 years’ relevant experience needed
