Staff Data Engineer

• →Build Analytics-Ready Data Assets
  • →Design and maintain structured, documented datasets in platforms like Snowflake so teams across the business can self-serve insights and make smarter decisions.
• →Collaborate Across Functions
  • →Partner with software engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable data models.
• →Own the Semantic Layer
  • →Use dimensional modeling and modern data architecture principles to simplify access to data and support BI tools, reporting, dashboards but most importantly support data products.
• →Develop and Maintain ELT Pipelines
  • →Leverage tools like Airflow, and others to orchestrate reliable data transformations—ensuring data is fresh, reliable, and production-grade.
• →Enable Data Democratization
  • →Make data accessible to everyone, regardless of their technical skills. Your work will empower product, ops, marketing, and leadership to explore data confidently and independently.

• Strong SQL and data modeling experience (Kimball, Inmon, or similar)
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster
• Proficiency with analytical databases (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.)
• Experience with modern ELT tools
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD in a data context
• Ability to translate business needs into clean, maintainable data sets
• Strong communication skills—can explain data to humans and code to computers
• Comfortable working with stakeholders who aren’t technical like Product Managers, Business Experts, etc
