VP Operations

As Vice President Operations, you will have a crucial role in the DHL Supply Chain organization. As the global leader in supply chain, we have set the standard in our industry. We’re looking for people who are ready to set the standard in their own profession.

In this role, we’re looking for someone to drive commercial results and operational excellence in his/her area of responsibility. We need an individual who can support a large growth agenda by helping to develop the pipeline strategy, getting involved with new business pursuits, and participating in deal architecture to make sure DHL Supply Chain can deliver promised returns. The business requires this person to take the organization’s strategies and translate them in a manner that enables the operations teams understand, buy in, and be motivated by our direction.

• You’ll be part of the executive leadership group that sets the vision, strategy, and agenda for the business
• Your responsibility will reach across a broad geography, a diverse group of customers, and hundreds of associates
• You’ll develop a regional strategy for the customer accounts in your geography
• You’ll be held accountable for providing your groups a safe, productive, and results-driven environment through your management teams and your own vision for excellence
• You’ll work in an ever-changing marketplace with multiple priorities and a diverse array of customers, vendors, managers, and associates
• You’ll have accountability for negotiations, contract adherence, and BCA execution
• You’ll be surrounded by smart, accomplished, driven leaders

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, required
• 10+ years management experience, required
• 7 + years distribution experience, required
• Third-party Logistics experience, preferred
