Purpose of the Role:

As a Project Control Co-op, you will support project managers and project teams in monitoring project schedules, budgets, deliverables, resources, and overall project performance. You will assist with collecting and analyzing project data, tracking costs and timelines, preparing estimates and budgets for upcoming projects, and identifying trends or variances that may impact project delivery. The role will also involve maintaining accurate project documentation, participating in project meetings, and preparing reports and insights to support effective project decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple project-related activities.
• Exposure to project management, project controls, estimating, budgeting, cost tracking, or scheduling is considered an asset.
• Experience with project management and scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera is preferred, along with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

What Success Looks Like in This Role:

• Support project managers in tracking project timelines, deliverables, resource allocation, budgets, and overall project performance.
• Collect, compile, and analyze project data to identify trends, variances, risks, and potential impacts to project schedules or budgets.
• Assist with preparing project estimates and budgets, monitoring expenditures against approved budgets, and supporting financial performance tracking.
• Prepare accurate project reports and updates covering progress, financial performance, risks, and deviations from the plan.
• Maintain accurate and accessible project documentation, including reports, contracts, compliance records, meeting notes, and action items, while building strong relationships with project stakeholders and team members.
