Traffic CAD Operator

Job Title: Traffic CAD Operator (20 Nos.) Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years Job Location: Doha, Qatar Contract Duration: 6 Months Reports To: Traffic Engineer / Project Manager Job Specification: We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Traffic CAD Operator for a 6-month contractual role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic control systems, CAD drafting, road and traffic planning, and the preparation of traffic-related drawings and documentation. This role supports the engineering team by delivering accurate and efficient CAD drawings for various traffic and transportation projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop and prepare detailed traffic control plans, barricade layouts, and traffic diversion schemes for road construction and maintenance projects. Create shop drawings for traffic signal systems, signage, and road layouts. Draft and update traffic control system layouts, including signals, signs, and pavement markings. Generate and revise road planning and traffic violation analysis drawings based on project requirements. Work closely with engineers and planners to produce accurate CAD drawings for submittals and approvals. Support the design of temporary traffic management and detour plans during construction phases. Interpret civil and traffic engineering concepts into detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software. Maintain an organized archive of project drawings, ensuring version control and compliance with company standards. Requirements Required Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CAD Operator, specifically in traffic and transportation projects. Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related discipline. Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience is an advantage); experience with other CAD platforms is a plus. Strong knowledge of traffic engineering standards and signage regulations. Familiarity with traffic safety regulations and work zone guidelines.
