Job Summary

Database Management Analyst will administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.  Candidate will be experienced in managing complex data environments and collaborating within technical teams to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise-level databases.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Provide SPIDER/RIPTIDE/NM.net troubleshooting, resolution recommendations, and manual updates (i.e., NDE- EP, NM.net, Integrated Logistics, and Afloat Modernization Planning System (AMPS))
- Ensure the immediate linkage of SPIDER/RIPTIDE and NDE once the SCD completes a Decision Point (DP), verify the alt record is established in Navy Modernization Module (NM.net), update SPIDER/RIPTIDE SCD, verify the NM.net accomplishment record data fields (Installation Duration, Method of Install, Cert status, and Cert Date) are updated in accordance with established procedures.
- Support IWP baseline accuracy through SPIDER /RIPTIDE database inputs for modernization planning
- Provide BLM support for the Engineering PTRB Integration. Examples of support functions include attending routine PTRBs, assessing and reporting on new systems, system-to-system dependencies, and capability-build system integration requirements
- Provide technical input during program and design reviews, conferences, and technical working groups, including comments, questions, and recommendations related to installation management.
- Provide corrective input and feedback to help optimize SPIDER/RIPTIDE modules (i.e., Platform Configuration Control Board (PCCB), CM, and Document Management Module (DMM)).
- Apply DoD and DoN acquisition best practices software, middle tier, and business system pathways appropriate to each acquisition program or project.

Salary

The minimum salary starts at $95,000 and the max is negotiable based on experience
