About the Role
~1 min readAs an Education Support Officer, you will support teachers and build engagement with learners studying Allied Timber Trade courses. You will have the opportunity to apply your on-the-job knowledge and industry specific qualification to create a positive learning environment. You will supplement the teaching activities by providing follow-up instruction as provided by a teacher and opportunities to practice skills to enhance students educative experience and engagement.
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Cabinetmaking or equivalent.
- Relevant post-qualification experience in the industry relevant to your qualification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to proactive, self-driven, and highly organised – demonstrated effective time-management, initiative, and the capacity tow work both independently and collaboratively.
