The Network Operations Centre (NOC) primarily serves the offshore industry and operates 24/7 on a rotating schedule that includes day, evening, and night shifts. The NOC is the hub of activity at Tampnet and you will work in a team that serves as the central point of contact for several departments including Subsea, Technology and Architecture, Solutions Implementation and Deployments and Engineering.
Tampnet prioritizes the continuous development of its employees, offering students a great opportunity to grow in various fields and within the company. The global operations team currently consists of 9 part-time and 15 full-time employees.
You will receive thorough training from the team, be assigned a mentor, and tasks will be adjusted based on your level of expertise.

Monitor and operate network and telecommunications infrastructure

Receive, register, solve, and follow up on customer inquiries

Requirements

Advantageous to have relevant work experience (students or recent graduates are welcome to apply)
Certification or knowledge of ITIL
Operational experience with transmission, radio, IP/MPLS, and LTE networks is an advantage
Experience or knowledge of operating critical systems with high uptime requirements
To be a current candidate for the position, you must be Security Cleared (or eligible for Security clearance in Norway) and authorised according to Norwegian Security Act. Read more about security clearance at https://www.nsm.no/.
