About the Role

We are looking to hire a detail-oriented and organized self-starter for an Assistant position in our TV Literary department. Must be passionate about the television industry and able to work on-site, 5 days/week in our New York office. Daily duties include script coverage, rolling calls, tracking client appointments, making submissions, heavy scheduling. The ideal candidate is resourceful, articulate, intelligent, and looking to become a literary agent.

 

  • Provide administrative support, including rolling calls, interfacing with clients and reviewing materials.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate with managers, other assistants and executives, as needed.
  • Draft email correspondence, send submissions, and track incoming/outgoing materials.
  • Manage expense reports and travel coordination.
  • Interface with top executives, production companies and key players across the entertainment industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 1 year of professional entertainment industry experience.
  • At least 1 year of prior administrative experience.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-up.
  • High level of initiative and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Positive attitude, highly organized, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Prior talent agency or management company experience is recommended but not required
  • Willingness to make a 2-year commitment in the role.
