An exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our growing team!

The Project Manager – Operational Technology (Container Parks) is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives supporting DP World’s Container Parks business, including system integration and operational improvement projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for end-to-end delivery of IT and Operational Technology projects within the Container Park environment 

  • Responsible for governance, safety compliance, operational alignment, vendor management, financial control, cybersecurity adherence, and realization of operational efficiency benefits while ensuring zero disruption to live yard operations.
  • Develop project schedules in the chosen tool, mapping interdependencies where needed. Ensure that progress is tracked in sufficient detail and with transparency to the wider project team

  • Manage project risks, issues, and change requests, ensuring impacts to safety, operations, cost, and schedule are assessed, documented, and communicated to stakeholders with appropriate mitigation strategies implemented

  • Coordinate closely with operations and IT teams to plan implementation activities, testing, and cutovers in alignment with operational windows to minimise disruption to live container yard activities

  • Engage with infrastructure, network, platform, cybersecurity, and application teams to define technical requirements and delivery dependencies for Container Park technology projects

  • Coordinate infrastructure deployments including networks, servers, storage, and site technology required to support container park systems

  • Coordinate integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing with IT teams and operational stakeholders

  • Define test scenarios and validation criteria to ensure systems meet operational performance requirements

  • Identify opportunities to improve technology integration, automation, and operational efficiency within container park environments

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Project Management certification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP (Project Management Professional), or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated understanding of technology project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid models

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager delivering Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) projects within logistics, ports, transport, or similar operational environments.

  • Proven hands-on experience managing and delivering technology infrastructure projects, including networks, compute, storage, and site technology deployments.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering hardware deployments, operational systems, and enterprise platform implementations
