Shipping & Receiving Lead - DeWitt Area

We are partnering with organizations in DeWitt that are seeking Shipping & Receiving Leads. • →Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• →Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving clerks, fostering a productive work environment.
• →Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics to optimize material flow and meet deadlines.
• →Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
• →Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• →Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• →Resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.

• High school diploma or GED; some college or technical training preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead and train a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of logistics, supply chain processes, and DOT regulations.
• Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and transaction processing.

• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members on shipping/receiving best practices and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives in a logistics setting.
