Applications Systems Specialist

Job Summary:
The Applications Systems Specialist is responsible for administering, supporting, optimizing, and continuously improving the organization's enterprise applications, business systems, and virtual infrastructure. This role ensures new and current systems remain reliable, current, properly licensed, well-documented, and aligned with vendor support requirements by coordinating upgrades, patches, asset tracking, vendor relationships, and end-of-life planning. The position also helps maintain the virtual environment by ensuring servers, operating systems, and applications are routinely updated, patched, and able to support ongoing operational needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is desired.
- Proven experience in administering enterprise applications and business systems.
- Strong knowledge of virtual infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
