The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of assigned banquet and event functions. This role provides leadership and direction to Banquet Servers, ensuring smooth service flow and exceptional guest experiences. The Banquet Supervisor manages event operations according to established timelines and client expectations while serving as the primary liaison between banquet staff, kitchen teams, stewarding, vendors, and event stakeholders, including brides and grooms, speakers, and meeting planners.
The position ensures all banquet activities are executed efficiently, maintaining high standards of service, presentation, and professionalism. Responsibilities include coordinating event logistics, directing staff throughout functions, monitoring service quality, and resolving operational issues as they arise. The Banquet Supervisor also ensures the completion of all side work, proper cleaning and organization of banquet storerooms, and adherence to company standards before the end of each shift. Additionally, the role is responsible for completing event recaps and follow-up documentation, providing detailed summaries of each event's execution, successes, and areas for improvement.
Responsibilities

- →Ensure completion of all side work and proper cleaning and organization of banquet storage areas.
- →Address and resolve service or operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
- →Complete post-event recaps, documentation, and follow-up reports detailing event outcomes and operational observations.
- →Maintain compliance with company standards, safety procedures, and hospitality best practices.
Requirements
