Convention Center Housekeeping | Day and Evening Shifts Available

Are you someone who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming environments? Our team is looking for dedicated Housekeepers [evening & day shifts plus weekend availability] to join us in our mission to maintain the beauty and functionality of our event center. As a key member of the Operations Department, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your general housekeeping, cleaning, equipment handling, and leadership skills. TYPICAL WORK ROUTINE INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Extensive walking throughout the facility and facility grounds.
• Completion of tasks and daily assignments as assigned cooperatively.
• Perform general manual labor associated with set-up, custodial, maintenance, or housekeeping functions.
• Maintain the public image of the Operations Department at all times when in the service of The Classic Center.
• Maintain an irregular work schedule as required by the Operations Manager for events within The Classic Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to demonstrate basic cleaning techniques.
2. Ability to perform manual tasks requiring physical strength and perform reasonably heavy labor.
3. Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions accurately.
4. Related training and experience that offers a further understanding of custodial and housekeeping techniques is desirable.
5. Ability and desire to work in a team environment and under the direction of a shift lead or manager on duty.

The candidate who is selected for this position will have to successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
