Full-Time Security Officer

• →Coordinating various deliveries
• →Accountability of all access of the Arena
• →Inventory of equipment
• →Controlling and monitoring security cameras
• →Monitoring exterior doors to the building and maintaining a secure environment for our visitors
• →Controlling guest/vendors access to the Arena
• →Ensure all areas are maintained in a professional and clean manner during shift
• →Follow safety and security policies, programs and procedures
• →Ability to handle the telephone and speak clearly and professionally
• →Ability to handle crisis situations in the event of emergency and/or fire
• →Work with all departments to ensure the building’s needs are met
• →Must conduct building security checks of all floors during 8-hour shift
• →Other duties as assigned
  Shfts:  7am-3pm, 3pm–11pm and 11pm–7am

• Previous experience is a must
• • Applicant must possess a valid Florida Class D Security License
• Passion to work with people and willingness to learn

• Self-motivation and ability to work alone if necessary
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available on weekend/overnights

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Standing - Particularly for sustained periods of time.
  Walking - Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. To include walking up/down stairs.
  Pushing - Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
• Pulling - Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
• Lifting - Raising objects up to 30 pounds from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.
• Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
  Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. 
• Vision - The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e., custodial, food services, general laborer, etc.) or to make general observations of facilities or structures (i.e., security guard, inspection, etc.).

• Repetitive motion -Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: 
This is an hourly non-exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
