Key responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
Ensure adherence to industry best practices and testing standards
Assist in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks (if applicable)
Analyze test results and provide insights to improve product quality
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Qualifications & experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a senior role
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Hands-on experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Proficiency in manual testing techniques, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing
Experience with SQL for database validation and API testing using tools like Postman
Familiarity with automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
