For nearly 20 years, we’ve helped clients access knowledge on demand from experts, in-person and through our Library covering over 65,000 companies.

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Event Associate as part of our Commercial team in Shanghai. We organize private interviews and roundtables, where industry thought leaders discuss emerging topics of interest to investors.

Monitor capital market dynamics and track high-growth sectors across China to identify hot topics, curate compelling event concepts, and draft pre-event market analyses and discussion questions;
Conduct deep industry research to identify and target key market players and C-level executives working at the heart of their respective fields to participate in roundtables and interviews;
Build trusted relationships with industry experts to encourage their participation, while thoroughly pre-qualifying their insights and managing expert fee within budget;
Collaborate closely with our Commercial and Delivery teams to proactively drive event promotion, maximize client engagement;
Establish a robust post-event feedback mechanism to collect client insights; continuously optimize seminar formats and content quality to maximize client satisfaction and drive long-term retention;
Manage multiple parallel projects and successfully deliver high-quality event pipelines under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;

The ability to confidently interact with C-level executives and industry experts;
Demonstrable skill in carrying out research with a logical and focused approach;
Prior research experience or active coverage related to the AI and technology sectors is a plus
A self-motivated individual with a diligent, proactive work ethic; demonstrates exceptional time/project management and a structured approach to multi-tasking in a dynamic environment;
Ability to thrive under pressure within a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a highly positive, results-oriented attitude.
Willingness to travel across China for executing roundtables or other events

Requirements

Fluent in spoken and written English;
Bachelor’s degree or above
Have experience in Research and/or Sector markets analysis
