The Global Head of People Process & Programs is responsible for defining and leading the enterprise strategy for People Process Excellence, Process Optimisation, and Global People Programs. This leadership role establishes global process standards, drives continuous improvement, governs strategic People initiatives, and delivers business transformation across the People function. The role partners across HR, Technology and Business teams to implement digital, automation and AI-enabled solutions that improve employee experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the enterprise strategy for People Process Excellence and Continuous Improvement.
  • Lead end-to-end process optimisation across the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle.
  • Apply Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Business Process Re-engineering and Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Eliminate process waste, simplify workflows and improve service quality, productivity and compliance.
  • Establish global process governance, standards, SOPs and process ownership.
  • Implement process mining, KPI frameworks, SLAs and operational scorecards.
  • Build and lead a global community of Process Champions.
  • Lead enterprise People transformation programmes sponsored by the Global People Leadership Team.
  • Manage programme governance, executive reporting, roadmaps, RAID logs and benefits realisation.
  • Deliver strategic initiatives including HR operating model transformation, shared services optimisation, HR technology implementations, policy harmonisation and employee experience programmes.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across HR, Technology, Finance, Legal and Business leaders.
  • Ensure effective change management and adoption across global regions.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve People processes.
  • Partner with HR Technology and Digital teams to implement scalable AI-enabled solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies including Generative AI, Copilot, AI Agents and workflow automation.
  • Measure value, adoption and business impact of digital solutions.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years in Global HR Operations, Shared Services, Operational Excellence or Business Transformation.
  • Expertise in Process Optimisation, Process Improvement and Operational Excellence.
  • Strong experience with Lean, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven programme leadership across global organisations.
  • Excellent executive stakeholder management, influencing and change leadership.
  • Experience with HR technology, automation and AI-en
  • You have a natural ability to establish and nurture relationships with senior leaders across the organization
  • You have excellent context-switching capabilities
  • You thrive in situations where you are given little to no direction and have the ability to lead, organize and deliver commitments on time and within budget
  • You’re resilient in ambiguous situations and can adapt your role to approach challenges from multiple perspectives. You don’t shy away from risks, instead you take them on and skillfully manage them
  • You’re empathetic and use this ability to build solid working relationships and resolve issues quickly and thoughtfully
