Production Assembler III

The Production Assembler III is responsible for assembling individual components into a finished product on a production line while following detailed instructions and quality standards. Assemblers often use hand tools and machinery to accurately position and fasten parts together, ensuring the final product meets required specifications.
Requirements

- 5 + years previous assembly experience required.
- Working knowledge of basic assembly procedures. Previous knowledge of cable and wire harness assembly required.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assemble assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with production guidelines
- →Read and understand drawings, travelers, bills of material.
- →Use measuring tools, crimp tools, wire cutting equipment and stripping machines.
- →Hand crimping.
- →Spot tie and continuous lacing.
- →Heat shrink sleeving and boots.
- →Solder pins, contacts and solder cups, solder sleeves, bus wire splice
- →Perform job functions with minimum supervision.
- →Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
- →Notify management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
- →Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
- →Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
- →Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- →Perform other related duties as assigned.
- →Provide on-the-job training and coaching to new assemblers.
- →Attend required trainings for program specific requirements.
This position interacts with production, quality, and engineering departments on a regular basis
