Production Assembler III

The Production Assembler III is responsible for assembling individual components into a finished product on a production line while following detailed instructions and quality standards. Assemblers often use hand tools and machinery to accurately position and fasten parts together, ensuring the final product meets required specifications. 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Advanced training in J-STD-001/IPC-620 standards

• 5 + years previous assembly experience required.

• Working knowledge of basic assembly procedures. Previous knowledge of cable and wire harness assembly required.

• →Assemble assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with production guidelines
• →Read and understand drawings, travelers, bills of material. 
• →Use measuring tools, crimp tools, wire cutting equipment and stripping machines. 
• →Hand crimping.
• →Spot tie and continuous lacing.
• →Heat shrink sleeving and boots. 
• →Solder pins, contacts and solder cups, solder sleeves, bus wire splice
• →Perform job functions with minimum supervision.
• →Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards. 
• →Notify management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions. 
• →Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. 
• →Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. 
• →Maintain an organized and clean work area. 
• →Perform other related duties as assigned. 
• →Provide on-the-job training and coaching to new assemblers.
• →Attend required trainings for program specific requirements. 

This position interacts with production, quality, and engineering departments on a regular basis
