Accounting Professional

As an Accounting Professional, you will be the key owner of the financial processes for our marketplace operations in KSA and UAE. This is a central role where you will manage the end-to-end financial cycle, from ensuring timely and accurate financial statements to leading strategic improvement projects with cross-functional teams. You will act as a crucial business partner, providing data-driven financial insights to support the Gulf Business Unit and ensure the integrity of our financial operations.

Inventory of warehouse operations accounting.

Knowledge sharing in Gulf accounting legislation, relevant tax and commercial laws.

Processing the inventory procurement accounting and taking actions for the relevant controls.

Managing accounting of import processes and export processes.

Managing the missing/excessive/return goods processes' accounting.

Having balance/account reconciliation processes with the suppliers.

Checking the trial balance of the relevant accounts and proactively observe possible errors and take action.

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree from university preferably in Management, Business, Economics and other quantitative studies.

Proficient in MS Office programs, with a good level of Excel knowledge.

Warehouse accounting experience.

Having analytical perspective and problem solving skills.

Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Preferably worked in the e-commerce & retail industry, minimum 4 years of experience in accounting.

Preferably having experience in inventory accounting.

Preferably experienced in SAP-FI and MM modules, with basic level knowledge in CO and SD modules.

Experience in VAT submission processes for GCC countries
