Responsibilities

→Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated welding systems.
→Collaborate with engineering and production teams to incorporate weld automation.
→Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to welding automation equipment.
→Train and mentor team members on the use of automated welding systems.
→Manages regular maintenance and upgrades of welding automation equipment.
→Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
→Stay updated with the latest advancements in welding automation technology.

→Inspect finished products to ensure they adhere to quality standards and specifications.

→Primarily responsible for fixture development and programming for robot and cobot weld process.
→Will be a resource to production for fixture development in fabrication away from the robot and cobot weld cells.
→Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
→Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
→Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to improve processes and resolve technical issues.
→Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine specifications, such as material type, size, and shape.
→Maintain a clean and organized work area.
→Performs other duties as assigned.
