Requirements
~1 min read- Valid License as an APRN by the State of Arkansas Required and National Board Certification for Nurse-Midwifery, Prescriptive authority and DEA license is required but may be obtained after hire. Will consider a new CNM graduate.
- CNM experience preferred.
The in-person response time requirement is 1 hour.
- Demonstrated communication (written and oral) problem-solving, leadership and collaborative skills, strong patient advocacy and patient education skills.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provides antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and women’s health care services.
- →Performs comprehensive health assessments and establishing diagnoses.
- →Develops and implementing treatment and care plans.
- →Prescribes medications, therapies, and diagnostic tests within APRN scope.
- →Triages patients presenting to Labor & Delivery.
- →Manages laboring patients independently or collaboratively with OB/GYN physicians.
- →Monitors fetal and maternal well-being during pregnancy and birth.
- →Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and specialists
- →Supports evidence-based, low-intervention, patient-centered maternity care.
- →Consults or referring to physicians when complications arise.
- →Documents patient care and maintaining compliance with APRN and hospital standards.
- →May perform other duties as assigned.
