The scope of work includes review, analysis, coordination, evidence generation, review and engagement with stakeholders in ensuring the rewriting of the existing R991 Regulations

Requirements

  • Strong command of English – both written and spoken
  • Backelor in Public health, nutrition, Medicine, other related disciplines
  • A minimum of five to ten years’ experience in health and child nutrition.
  • Experience in working in the regulatory development environment in the health sector.
  • Proven track record of technical expertise on child nutrition and policy development.
  • Analytical skills of existing evidence.
  • Technical skills on development and writing of regulations.
  • Understanding of the World Health Assembly (WHA) Resolutions on child nutrition, Codex Alimentarius standards and other international guidelines on the Code and child nutrition.
  • A good track record in working with the government and other partners on child nutrition.
  • Relevant experience working in the UN or other international development organization is an asset
