Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Estimator to join our growing team. This role focuses on producing high-quality landscape plans for national homebuilders, site contractors, and custom builders, requiring both technical expertise and creative design skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and finalize landscape plans for national builders and site contractors.
- Create lot-specific landscape plans based on builder standards and modify existing plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the estimation team to understand and apply standard package requirements.
- Integrate site plans into AutoCAD and incorporate required design elements.
- Ensure all landscape designs meet builder specifications, regulatory requirements, and applicable codes.
- Produce advanced, custom landscape designs for higher-end or specialized projects.
- Stay current with county-approved plans, zoning codes, and regulatory updates to ensure compliance.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plant materials and landscape construction standards.
- Experience working with county regulations and permitting requirements.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce compliant, build-ready plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
