Senior Dataiku DSS Administrator

Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Dataiku DSS Administrator to oversee the AI/ML orchestration layer integrated with our Cloudera infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring that data scientists and power users can execute complex analytics workloads efficiently. You will act as the bridge between the data science community and the underlying big data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Management: Full ownership of Dataiku DSS (v14.2.3) environment, including Automation HA nodes and API Deployer.
• Integration Oversight: Manage the critical integration points between Dataiku and the Cloudera CDP platform, ensuring seamless data access and compute delegation.
• Workload Optimization: Monitor job execution patterns, identify long-running recipes, and optimize resource contention to ensure stable execution of analytics projects.
• Project Governance: Implement RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), manage project-level permissions, and ensure activity logging for audit compliance.
• User Enablement: Conduct design best-practice assessments, provide feature training, and demonstrate new Dataiku release capabilities to the user community.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform quarterly health checks and platform versioning reviews to maintain stability and vendor supportability.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in data platform administration, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Dataiku DSS.
• Certification: Valid Dataiku DSS Developer or Dataiku DSS Engineer certification is mandatory.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of how Dataiku interacts with Spark, Kubernetes, and SQL databases.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to interface with both technical infrastructure teams and business data scientists.
