CRS Philippines, established in 1945, is the longest running, continuous CRS country program in the world with extensive programming in emergency response, early recovery and disaster risk reduction, climate resilience and peace governance. CRS Philippines employs more than 75 staff members based in Manila, Davao, Cotabato City, and various project locations across the country.  CRS Philippines is committed to collaborating with our strong network of church partners, national and subnational government agencies and secular NGOs throughout the country.

Job Summary

You will help coordinate and support the execution of the Country Program (CP) HR strategy and operational plans in support of high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable. You will provide responsive, high-quality service to address HR programs, services and operations needs in all or some of the areas of recruitment, staff development, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, onboarding/orientation, policies, staff wellbeing and wellness initiatives, staff care, and employee administration.

Responsibilities

  • →Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • →Five years of work experience in Human Resources. 
  • →Experience with and knowledge of employment laws, regulations, policies, principles, concepts, and practices.   Good understanding of local labor laws. 
  • →Experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes. 
  • →Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating staff wellbeing, employee engagement, or workplace wellness programs, including initiatives that support mental health, resilience, psychosocial wellbeing, and a healthy work environment.
  • →Working knowledge of government-mandated benefits administration, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and related labor compliance requirements. 
  • →Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations, programs, and workplace safety compliance requirements.
  • →Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple HR processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely compliance with reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Preferably with experience with International or local NGO and good knowledge of HR best practices and standards.
  • Preferably with HR certification or courses covered
  • Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web Conferencing Applications, HRIS.
  • Hands-on experience on Human Resources Information System, specifically in Oracle 
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels internally and externally. 
  • Strong customer service ethic and abilities 
  • Very good planning, coordinating, and organizing skills
  • Able to maintain confidential information
  • Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented and results-oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English and Filipino are required. 
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time, as required.
