Job Summary

The Senior Multimedia Producer serves as a part-time multimedia specialist supporting CRS’s Content Studio and donor communications efforts. The role develops high-quality video, audio, photography, animation, and multimedia products that strengthen donor engagement and elevate CRS’s mission and impact. Working closely with content creators, storytellers, designers, fundraisers, and field teams, the Senior Multimedia Producer transforms programmatic and human-interest content into compelling visual and digital storytelling assets for diverse audiences.

This position provides surge production capacity for projects that exceed internal bandwidth and supports a wide range of communications needs, including donor campaigns, presentations, webinars, podcasts, social content, and strategic storytelling initiatives. The role requires exceptional production, editing, and visual storytelling skills, along with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain CRS brand standards across all multimedia products.

Roles and Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and edit high-quality multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, animations, webinars, presentations, and digital storytelling assets that support CRS fundraising, engagement, and communications objectives.
  • Create compelling visual stories that capture the human impact of CRS’s work and mission around the world.
  • Lead video editing and post-production efforts, including motion graphics, animation, sound design, music selection, and final asset delivery.
  • Provide photography and videography support domestically and internationally as needed, including field-based content gathering.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, storytellers, fundraisers, and subject matter experts to develop creative concepts and multimedia products.
  • Review scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and production plans to ensure creative quality, brand alignment, and effective storytelling.
  • Apply multimedia best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve production quality and audience engagement.
  • Serve as a quality-control resource for multimedia products, ensuring consistency with CRS brand standards and storytelling principles.
  • Manage and maintain multimedia asset libraries, archives, and content databases.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and external production partners as needed.
  • Contribute to donor engagement initiatives, including Leadership Giving campaigns, presentations, and other strategic communications efforts.
  • Collaborate across CRS departments and regional teams to support priority communications and fundraising initiatives.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production, Communications, Film, Digital Media, Photography, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in multimedia production, video editing, visual storytelling, or related creative fields.
  • Advanced expertise in video production workflows, including shooting, editing, post-production, and multimedia asset management.
  • Strong experience producing content across multiple digital platforms and formats.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within nonprofit, humanitarian, international development, media, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Experience producing donor-facing communications and fundraising content.
  • International field production experience.
  • Experience with virtual reality, immersive storytelling, or emerging multimedia technologies.
  • Spanish language skills preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
  • Strong photography and videography skills.
  • Experience with animation and motion graphics production.
  • Excellent visual storytelling, editorial judgment, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of international development, humanitarian response, and global issues.
  • Familiarity with donor communications and fundraising content development.
  • Proficiency using Mac and/or PC platforms.

 

Required Languages: English

Travel: International travel may be required.
