About this role:
The Manager, HRIS serves as the technical and reporting lead for Dayforce and is a key partner to HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT. This role translates business needs into clear system requirements; manages Dayforce updates, configuration, and testing; and delivers accurate, actionable reporting.
This role also provides technical, process, and training support across Dayforce modules (e.g., Recruiting, Benefits, Performance, Learning, and Compensation), while day-to-day functional ownership and program decisions remain with the teammate leading each area.
What you'll do:
Dayforce Support & Optimization
Provide technical support and optimization across Dayforce modules (Recruiting, Benefits, Performance, Learning, Compensation, and others):
Consult with functional owners (e.g., Recruiting, Benefits, and Compensation leads) on requirements
Configure and test changes
Troubleshoot issues and error messages
Support cyclical processes to drive adoption and continuous improvement
Open, track, and follow up on tickets with Dayforce and/or internal Tech Support
Maintain a streamlined intake/backlog process for enhancements and partner with functional owners to prioritize work
Manage Dayforce system requirements, releases, and updates:
Review requirements and assess impacts
Coordinate testing (UAT)
Communicate upcoming changes and release notes to stakeholders
Reporting & Analytics
Build and maintain standard and ad hoc Dayforce reports, hubs, and dashboards (headcount, turnover, recruiting funnel, performance, benefits and compensation cycles, compliance)
Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting and improve self-service access for end users
System Training & Enablement
Develop and maintain training materials (job aids, SOPs, quick reference guides)
Deliver training
Provide support and guidance on Dayforce best practices
Payroll Support
Serve as backup support to Payroll for Dayforce-related processing, audits, and issue resolution
Support integrations and data flows between Dayforce and other platforms
Support department-wide HR initiatives, special projects, audits, and documentation updates as needed
Where you'll be:
This role will be based at our Liberty Corner, NJ campus on a hybrid schedule. Employees are required to spend 3 days per week working in the office, between Monday - Thursday.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
5+ years of progressive HRIS experience, including hands-on HRIS administration/configuration; experience supporting Dayforce strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to translate HR and business requirements into system configuration, process improvements, and reporting solutions
Strong data skills including report and dashboard building, data validation and auditing; advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, lookups); experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or SQL a plus
Experience developing and delivering HRIS training (job aids, SOPs, and live sessions)
Comfort using automation and emerging AI-enabled tools to improve documentation, reporting workflows, and user support while adhering to organizational guidance on data privacy, security, and human review
Working knowledge of HR processes (recruiting, benefits, performance, compensation, timekeeping, and payroll)
Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance expectations (i.e. role-based access, audit trails)
Strong attention to detail, documentation practices, and follow-through
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to partner effectively across HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors
Appreciation for the game of golf, competition, sports, and/or being an authentically mission- and values-driven individual is a plus

Job Location: Liberty Corner, NJ
Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000
The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000. This range represents what we reasonably expect to pay as starting base compensation for this role. Compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, and relevant certifications.
