Roadway/Transportation Engineer

USI Consultants, Inc., an Indiana based civil engineering and surveying firm, employs an outstanding group of civil engineers, surveyors, right-of-way specialists, construction inspectors, Planners, Landscape Architects, technicians, and designers, and client representatives. • →Responsible for transportation and geometric roadway design, plan development, public presentation, specification writing, drainage calculations, quantity calculations, cost estimating, utility coordination, permitting, and technical report writing. 
• →Ability to work individually and as part of a team on Local Public Agency and INDOT projects 
• →Effectively communicate project status items to the Road Design Team and clients. 
• →Assist in the recruitment of new talent and contribute to a positive company culture. 

• Bachelor of Science (BSCE) in Civil Engineering 
• Indiana Professional Engineer Licensure or the eligibility to obtain 
• Working knowledge of INDOT Design Manual standards, specifications, and procedures 
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Have working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D 
• Basic experience in programming, macros, or task automation 
• Strong sense of organization
