LOGCAP: Engineering Technician (CAD Operator) - USN

Seeking a full-time Engineer Technician (CAD Operator) in support of LOGCAP V. Join our team and grow with us as we provide best in-class services that help clients solve their most complex challenges. 

Performs variety of work in coordination with the Engineering Section in support of the LOGCAP contract. Works with the Engineering manager, Project Delivery Manager, and Construction Manager. Serves as transition team subject matter expert for Engineering section in support of the Department of Public Works (DPW).

• Possess knowledge and experience in a wide range of assignments in the area of Engineering and specializing is CAD drawing programs and applications.   
• Possess experience with analytical/independent problem solving and facility requirements development.  
• Possess knowledge and experience in developing project drawings and specifications at varying stages of the project including final design stage.  
• Provides input into conceptual estimates at project initiation and throughout the life of the project that includes rough order of magnitudes estimates for all aspects of projects.  
• Collaboratively develop facility and infrastructure documents and drawings to meet client requirements. 
• Provides input into rough order of magnitude estimates. 
• Participate and if necessary, facilitate meetings, participate in stakeholder discussions, and provide guidance to large, multi-disciplinary teams on complex master planning assignments. 
• Process excavation and utility clearance requests (Dig Permits) and participate in Dig Permit process. Maintain dig permits files.
• Other duties as determined by project leadership.  

• Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
• Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.  Passport must have a minimum of 6 blank pages prior to OCONUS mobilization. 
• Must satisfy the USARPAC Force Health Protection Guidance medical requirements for INDOPACOM prior to OCONUS mobilization, must be able to maintain a Medically Qualified (MQ) rating on an annual basis. 
• Must be CAC eligible and able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.

• Must have knowledge of and experience in developing facility and infrastructure solutions in support of military operations. 
• Must have knowledge and working experience with facility and infrastructure guidance to include Unified Facilities Code (UFC), Department of Defense Manuals, Army and US Army Corps of Engineers regulations. 
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to include a specific knowledge of technical military writing style and format.
• Must be able to work with military personnel, US Government officials and personnel from other firms/companies to meet client requirements.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Engineering technician work and CAD operating.  
• Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).  
• US Citizenship with US Passport required. 
• United States and International travel, with occasional short notice travel.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI (Tier 1 Investigation) for Installation Access on USAG-KA.
