Junior Pricing Specialist - Power Business Unit

We are currently seeking a Junior Pricing Specialist to join our dynamic team in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy!

The Junior Pricing Specialist will work within the Pricing / SPR (Special Pricing Request) domain, supporting in‑process SPR analysis, senior approvers and Sales teams. The role is structured as a developmental position, evolving into a fully autonomous Tactical Pricing Specialist, with the ability to independently approve segmented SPRs.

The position is designed around a competitive bids approach, with a structured learning and rotation path. The incumbent will rotate across core teams like Offering, Customer Experience / Pricing Governance and Finance (commercial finance), gaining end‑to‑end exposure to pricing decisions, governance and customer value dynamics. 

In parallel, the Junior Pricing Specialist will contribute to collecting and organizing feedback on SPR process from the stakeholders, providing input for continuous improvement. They will align with Pricing Governance teams and with Product Managers, coordinating with the Price Administration team, and also informing product positioning. The Junior Pricing Specialist will also facilitate the adoption of AI‑enabled tools within the SPR approvers community.

What kind of work will you be doing?

• Perform in-process analysis of Special Pricing Requests (SPR) and provide structured support to senior approvers during the review and approval stages. 
• Progressively develop the skills and knowledge required to independently approve segmented SPRs, in line with delegated authority and internal policies. 
• Collect, organize, and synthesize Voice-of-the-Offering feedback to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities within the SPR process and in the Price Lists. 
• Actively follow up on SPR process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Price Administration team. 
• Align and collaborate with Global Pricing teams to ensure consistency of pricing logic, tools, and methodologies. 
• Facilitate and promote the adoption of AI tools within the SPR approvers team, supporting efficiency, data quality, and decision-making. 
• Support documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of SPR-related processes and guidelines. 

What will make you successful?

Education: degree in business analytics, business administration (MBA etc.), accounting or similar.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret pricing, margin, profit and commercial data. 

Interest in pricing, offering management, and commercial processes. 

Good organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with distributed cross-functional international teams. 

Knowledge of AI-enabled tools and automation is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). 

Fluency in English (B2 written and spoken).
