We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of Material Handler within our Switchgear team in Campsie Site, Derry/Londonderry.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Monitor live production schedules and navigate IFS to arrange materials from stores.
- →Carry out inspections, take-offs, and report any damages or shortages to Stores and the relevant Engineer.
- →Identify non-conformances, complete NCRs, quarantine affected parts, and coordinate with Quality and Engineering to ensure timely replacement.
- →Maintain accurate records of all material movements and ensure correct booking of projects.
- →Support the timely fulfilment and delivery of materials between Stores and Production teams.
- →Pursue outstanding materials, keeping Team Leaders updated on progress.
- →Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- →Ensure materials are correctly stored and labelled in designated locations.
- →Demonstrate good understanding of production parts and codes.
- →Work independently with minimal supervision while being a proactive team player.
- →Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements and participate in relevant training.
- →Support implementation of VOS principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
~1 min read- Experience in warehouse, material handling, or inventory control.
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Awareness of workshop equipment, methods, and procedures.
- Understanding Health & Safety requirements, including risk assessments and COSHH.
