Material Handler

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of Material Handler within our Switchgear team in Campsie Site, Derry/Londonderry.

• →Monitor live production schedules and navigate IFS to arrange materials from stores.
• →Carry out inspections, take-offs, and report any damages or shortages to Stores and the relevant Engineer.
• →Identify non-conformances, complete NCRs, quarantine affected parts, and coordinate with Quality and Engineering to ensure timely replacement.
• →Maintain accurate records of all material movements and ensure correct booking of projects.
• →Support the timely fulfilment and delivery of materials between Stores and Production teams.
• →Pursue outstanding materials, keeping Team Leaders updated on progress.
• →Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• →Ensure materials are correctly stored and labelled in designated locations.
• →Demonstrate good understanding of production parts and codes.
• →Work independently with minimal supervision while being a proactive team player.
• →Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements and participate in relevant training.
• →Support implementation of VOS principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Experience in warehouse, material handling, or inventory control.
• Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Awareness of workshop equipment, methods, and procedures.
• Understanding Health & Safety requirements, including risk assessments and COSHH.
