As a Marketing & Content Specialist, you will own local marketing execution and social media content creation in your market. Your mission is to build consistency, local relevance, and growth by translating global priorities into a strong local plan, creating high-quality local content, and bringing local insights back to the team. You will work closely with the global marketing team, local influencers/creators, and other stakeholders to ensure Vilgain is visible, relevant, and competitive in your market.
Responsibilities

Own the local marketing calendar and ensure consistent weekly execution across channels (primarily Instagram/Facebook; additional channels as relevant).

Create local social media content end-to-end: ideation, copy/scripting, production, editing, and publishing, including short-form video (Reels/TikTok-style) and simple graphic assets (posts, stories, banners).

Localize and adapt global content and campaigns for the Hungarian market (copy, messaging, cultural context, timing).

Coordinate and publish local content with creators/influencers and internal teams, ensuring brand consistency and quality.

Execute local activations and simple campaigns (seasonal moments, product pushes, community partnerships) end-to-end.

Monitor market trends, competitors, turning insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

Support cross-functional needs such as website/localization checks, promotional communication, and basic reporting.

Coordinate basic local production when needed (simple shoots with creators or in-house) and ensure deliverables are on brand.

Work closely with the Expansion Manager to prioritize initiatives and continuously improve performance.
4+ years of experience in marketing, social media, content marketing, or a similar role (e-commerce experience is a strong plus).
Proven ability to create original, high-performing content for a local audience: short-form video + basic graphics.
Native-level Hungarian writing skills (captions and basic scripts), with strong sense for tone of voice and “scroll-stopping” messaging.
Strong understanding of local trends and culture (formats, memes, key moments) and the ability to translate them into brand-safe content ideas.
Hands-on production mindset: comfortable planning simple shoots, capturing content, and editing short-form videos to a polished standard.
Familiarity with basic content tools (e.g., CapCut/Final Cut/Figma/Canva/Adobe).
Good English for daily communication and smooth collaboration with Czech-based content and marketing teams.
Your performance will be measured by:
Content output: number of locally produced videos + graphic assets delivered, and adherence to the content plan (weekly/monthly).
Consistency and cadence: regular posting and on-time execution of the local content plan (weekly).
Growth and engagement: improvements in reach, engagement rate, and follower growth on local channels (monthly).
Execution quality: speed, reliability, and quality of localization/adaptation and campaign delivery.
Local insights & ownership: proactive market learnings and actionable proposals that improve performance.
