We’re hiring a Landscaping Job Coach to join our team. If you have landscaping experience, enjoy working outdoors, and want to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals with disabilities develop valuable workplace skills, this role is for you. As a Landscaping Job Coach, you’ll work side-by-side with a small group of clients, providing hands-on training, guidance, and support while completing landscaping work at various job sites.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of landscaping tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, planting, watering, weeding, fertilizing, and monitoring plant health.

Work side-by-side with a small group of clients (typically 3 clients), providing hands-on training, instruction, and support.

Demonstrate proper landscaping techniques and help clients develop job skills, independence, and confidence.

Provide supervision and guidance while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to job-site expectations.

Track and document client progress through weekly notes and other required documentation.

Communicate with supervisors and case managers regarding client progress, needs, and challenges.

Maintain professional and positive relationships with VIP’s business partners and job-site contacts.

Help create a positive, respectful, and supportive work environment for clients.

High school diploma or GED.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and vehicle registration required.
Landscaping knowledge or previous landscaping experience required.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, but not required.
Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical landscaping duties.
Ability to provide hands-on instruction and work effectively with a small group.
Reliable, patient, and motivated to help others succeed.
