In this role, you will contribute to the end-to-end revenue cycle, managing billing, receipting, debt management and the processing of exit entitlements across residential aged care, retirement living, affordable housing, disability services, home care and education.

Working within a complex and fast-paced environment, you will ensure financial processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements. This is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative Finance Operations team that values strong customer service, attention to detail, continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of compliance and audit readiness.

We’re values‑led, people‑focused, and committed to doing what’s right — for the people we support and the people who work with us. Joining VMCH means your technical expertise directly supports meaningful, real‑world outcomes.

You are a customer-focused finance professional with experience in accounts receivable, billing or financial administration. You bring strong attention to detail, the ability to manage complex billing and collections processes, and a compassionate approach when supporting customers and their families through important life transitions. With excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, you are confident working in a fast-paced, regulated environment while building positive relationships across operational teams and ensuring compliance, accuracy and high-quality customer service.

  • Relevant qualification in accounting, finance or business administration (Certificate IV or equivalent);
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable, including billing, receipting, collections, reconciliations and debt management;
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of customer accounts end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and positive outcomes;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and identify process improvements;
  • Experience interpreting and applying contractual terms, fee structures and legislative requirements with strong attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in any ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to support reporting, reconciliation and data integrity;
  • A professional, empathetic and customer-focused approach when engaging with customers, families and stakeholders; and
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

  • Purpose‑driven work where your skills directly support community services
  • Competitive salary with access to not‑for‑profit salary packaging to increase take‑home pay
  • Hybrid working and flexible arrangements
  • Ongoing professional development and access to learning opportunities
  • A supportive, collaborative technology team that values quality and continuous improvement
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family
  • A strong focus on wellbeing, inclusion and work‑life balance

If this sounds like the right next step for you, we’d love to hear from you.
