The International Developed Markets team manages five strategies which primarily invest in ex-U.S. small and mid?cap stocks. The team includes three portfolio managers and three analysts who have extensive experience investing in international markets. Given Wasatch’s long-term investment horizon, our work is centered around finding great companies with sustainable competitive advantages, long-term earnings growth potential, and exceptional management teams. The analyst will work closely with other team members in analyzing current and potential portfolio companies with a variety of responsibilities including: 1) interviewing company management, their customers, suppliers, and competitors; 2) developing financial projections and valuation analysis; 3) discussing and writing up conclusions and recommendations; 4) running investment screens to source new stock ideas; and 5) international travel.
