Responsibilities
~1 min read- →High school graduate or equivalent work experience, including ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology and English.
Requirements
~1 min read- CNA certification required.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous six (6) months experience as a certified nursing assistant required or experience in the military medical service (US Navy hospital corpsman or US Army/Air Force healthcare specialist) position(s) performing similar duties will also qualify; however, those in like-minded military positions must attain a CNA certification within 1 year of hire.
- Good organizational skills to handle a large volume of patient care activities.
- Emotional and physical stamina to work in a stressful work environment related to patients, staff and visitors.
