What’s the role?

This is your opportunity to shape the collaboration tools used by teams across Westpac every day. As a Senior Engineer Collaboration Services, you’ll design, evolve and support enterprise collaboration platforms, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 services.

You’ll work closely with service owners, engineers and delivery teams to develop service strategies, reference architectures and solution designs that are secure, scalable and easy to use. From cloud first services to hybrid environments, you’ll help ensure our collaboration platforms are operationally ready and deliver a great experience for our people.

This is a permanent, full time role based in Sydney, Warrane, Gadigal Country, working in a hybrid model that supports flexibility and balance. You’ll join a collaborative engineering team where your ideas and technical expertise will help shape how we work, connect and collaborate across the organisation.

What do I need?

• Strong experience designing, engineering and supporting enterprise collaboration services, with deep expertise in Microsoft 365 including Exchange, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform and Copilot
• Experience working across service delivery operations and complex infrastructure environments, contributing to service strategy, roadmaps and operational readiness
• The ability to design and clearly document new or enhanced collaboration solutions, including reference architectures and service designs
• Experience working in large or regulated organisations, with financial services exposure desirable but not essential
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across technical teams and business stakeholders
