This is an ideal role for an experienced contract manager, legal operations professional, or paralegal who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys building systems to enable speed and accountability. Put simply, you get things done, and get them done right. You bring a high degree of organization to your work, and understand how to run a tight process.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Conduct first-pass review and redlining of: NDAs, SaaS agreements and DPAs, creative/content licensing agreements, influencer and marketing agreements, supplier redlines to Wild Alaskan general terms and conditions
- Apply company contract templates and fallback positions
- Identify and escalate non-standard risk provisions to SVP, fractional General Counsel
- Coordinate negotiations with counterparties where appropriate
- Manage contract intake, tracking, and routing processes
- Implement and maintain a lightweight Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
- Maintain contract repository and ensure proper version control
- Track contract renewal dates and auto-renew provisions
- Monitor legal review metrics and continuously improve service delivery
- Maintain standard templates and clause libraries
- Develop and refine fallback positions and negotiation guidance
- Improve intake forms and workflow automation
- Support development of scalable legal infrastructure as company grows
- Partner closely with Marketing, Procurement, Finance, and Operations
- Ensure alignment between contract terms and operational execution
- Support data security and vendor risk review processes
- Bachelor's in Business, Legal Studies or related field, or paralegal certificate
- 2+ years experience in contract management, legal operations, or paralegal role
- Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Familiarity with SaaS agreements and indemnity / limitation of liability provisions
- Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize tasks effectively
- Demonstrated fluency with integrating AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) into real workflows — not as a curiosity but as part of how you work
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate with teammates
- Proven ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced and constantly changing environment
Nice to Have
~2 min read- Experience in high-growth consumer brands, eCommerce, food/CPG, or retail environments
- Experience implementing or managing a CLM system (Ironclad, SpotDraft, Lexion, etc.)
- Familiarity with marketing, influencer, or creative licensing agreements
- Experience supporting a fractional or lean legal team structure

The hourly range for this position is $50 - $75 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience.
This is a part-time role (10-20 hours per week).
