About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our flexible, high-performing manufacturing team at the Elk Mills 5 facility in Elkton, Maryland. In this role, you will support operational objectives by running, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes across multiple areas. This position requires flexibility, cross-training on various equipment, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The standard schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime based on business needs.
This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits:
- $19 - $37 per hour
- This role is eligible for an additional $2/hr shift differential pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

- →Follow quality systems, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure products meet internal and external customer requirements.
- →Actively participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- →Follow and promote all safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- →Complete 100% of required monthly and annual safety training.
- →Ensure all area training documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- →Work independently as well as collaboratively within a diverse team to support a high-performing manufacturing environment.
- →Reliability and excellent timekeeping and attendance behaviors.
Requirements

- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn advanced manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, ERP systems)
- Strong documentation and recordkeeping abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to influence teammates
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs, including overtime, weekends, and cross-shift or area support when required
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, and operate powered industrial vehicles
- Demonstrated reliability with strong timekeeping and attendance
- Ability to travel up to 5%
Requirements
