Office-based Video Data Contributor (Part-time)

Help Shape the Future of Robotics, Earn Income
We’re looking for paid participants to record everyday activities in our Menlo Park lab using a multi-camera setup (head, chest, and wrist-mounted cameras). Your recordings will help train robots to better understand and interact with the real world.
No technical experience required, just your time, attention to detail and willingness to follow simple instructions. This is a part-time, office-based role requiring presence to record on a consistent schedule for up to 3 days a week at our Menlo office. 

What to Expect
    •    A typical arrangement is 3-5x a week in-office, filming for 2-4 hours at a time
    •    Each session involves recording structured, guided tasks
    •    No robotics or technical background needed
    •    Project runs month-to-month based on performance and availability
    •    Simple setup: just arrive, record and get paid

Day In the Life
You’ll record yourself performing common, everyday tasks such as:
    •    Picking up, placing, stacking, and organizing objects
    •    Sorting items by size, color, or category
    •    Using simple tools (e.g., scissors, screwdriver, utensils)
    •    Cleaning, wiping, or tidying surfaces
    •    Folding laundry or arranging items
    •    Reaching for and placing objects at different distances

Your goal is to capture 20 hours of high-quality video per week in our office.

Compensation
    •    Compensation is $20.00/hr of quality footage produced
    •    1099 independent contractor role (no benefits or equity)

Who You Are
    •    Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to travel to Menlo Park
    •    Authorized to work in the US (citizen or Green Card holder). No OPT or CPT
    •    Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions carefully
    •    Comfortable performing light physical tasks (standing, reaching, handling objects)
    •    Able to move naturally and deliberately during recordings
    •    Reliable and punctual for scheduled sessions
    •    Willing to complete a background check
