We are seeking a visionary and highly accomplished Global Coordination & Governance Director to join our leadership team. This pivotal role is tasked with leading the strategic direction of multi-market operational excellence, driving rigorous adherence to international guidelines, and actively embarking a culture of strategic learning and unparalleled collaboration across all our paid media campaigns worldwide for Cartier.

You will be instrumental in leading the transformation of global strategy into seamless local execution, driving the evolution of reporting intelligence, and firmly establishing our global experience curve. Furthermore, you will play a critical, hands-on role in upholding and advancing our global governance framework, proactively ensuring our local teams are optimally structured, empowered, and that client relationships across all markets consistently meet and exceed our uncompromising standards of quality and service. This role demands exceptional strategic leadership to cultivate a high-performing, well-supported global team and to drive seamless collaboration across diverse internal expertise.

 

Responsibilities

Lead the definition, strategic development, robust implementation, and continuous evolution of world-class operational best practices and standardized workflows across all global markets.

Drive uncompromising adherence to international paid media guidelines, compliance regulations, and agency-specific protocols in all multi-market operations, ensuring absolute brand safety and regulatory alignment.

Proactively identify and drive opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to significantly enhance the efficiency, consistency, and scalability of global campaigns.

Lead the design and conceptualization of consolidated, intelligent, and deeply insightful global performance reports that not only reference overarching global strategies but also compellingly demonstrate campaign value and impact.

Drive the integration of actionable learnings, key market trends, and strategic recommendations into all reporting, fostering a proactive culture of continuous improvement and strategic foresight.

Embark and empower global teams to capture, document, and widely disseminate global insights and successful case studies, actively shaping and enriching the agency's global experience curve.

Lead presentations of critical findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders, directly influencing future strategic decisions and investment.

Lead the strategic oversight, continuous evolution, and ultimate integrity of the global governance framework, ensuring unequivocal roles, responsibilities, and accountability across geographically dispersed teams.

Drive proactive assessments of the structure, capabilities, and training needs of local teams to ensure the right talent is not only in place but also fully equipped to deliver on global strategies and exceed local client expectations.

Act as the primary point of contact and an internal strategic consultant to lead and foster exceptional quality in local client relationships, providing authoritative guidance and strategic intervention where necessary to align with global standards and client satisfaction goals.

Lead by example in cultivating a world-class global team culture grounded in continuous learning, professional growth, and holistic wellbeing.

Drive strategic talent development initiatives, providing advanced mentorship, coaching, and strategic guidance to both local and global teams, empowering them to achieve operational excellence, career progression, and maximum impact.

Embark team members on pathways of continuous growth and identify, champion, and implement initiatives to significantly enhance team capabilities, motivation, and overall job satisfaction across all markets.

Lead and drive cross-functional synergy, collaborating seamlessly with other internal agency expertise (e.g., Strategy, Digital, Analytics, Activation) and multiple senior stakeholders across departments to ensure integrated planning and execution.

Actively embark all stakeholders in a collaborative ecosystem, fostering knowledge sharing between markets and across functional teams to effectively leverage global insights locally, promote a unified agency approach, and deliver cohesive, client-centric solutions.

Serve as the central conduit, unequivocally leading and ensuring alignment between global strategy and local implementation across all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Serve as the principal leader and strategic advisor to senior leadership on global operational risks, opportunities, and transformative strategic initiatives.

Drive the agency's thought leadership as a subject matter expert on global paid media best practices, emerging industry trends, and complex compliance requirements.

 

Experience: 10-15+ years of progressive, senior-level experience in global paid media, strategic account leadership, or a highly relevant coordination/governance director role within a fast-paced, complex agency or client-side environment.

Visionary Global Mindset: Proven expertise in leading and operating within a multi-market, international setting, with a profound understanding of the complexities of diverse cultural, regulatory, and business landscapes.

Strategic Operational Acumen: Deep, hands-on understanding of paid media platforms, advanced ad tech, and complex operational workflows, coupled with a track record of driving large-scale efficiency, standardization, and innovation.

Executive Reporting & Strategic Storytelling: Exceptional ability to conceptualize and craft compelling, data-driven executive reports that not only present results but critically articulate strategic implications, profound learnings, and forward-looking recommendations that influence senior decision-making.

Advanced Governance & Compliance: Expert-level knowledge of international guidelines, stringent data privacy regulations, and advanced best practices in operational governance.

Executive Relationship Management & Influential Collaboration: Superior communication, negotiation, and C-suite stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to lead, build, and nurture robust relationships at all levels – internally (across diverse expertise and departments) and with sophisticated clients across various markets.

Transformational Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead, strategically influence, inspire, and develop geographically dispersed, high-performing teams, fostering a positive environment for continuous learning, innovation, and peak professional growth. A true change agent.

Analytical Prowess & Strategic Problem-Solving: Highly analytical with an uncompromising attention to detail and a proactive, strategic, and solution-oriented approach to complex, global challenges.

Tools: Familiar with relevant paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.), advanced analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), reporting dashboards, and enterprise-level project management software.

Education: Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; an MBA is highly desirable.
