EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Cytotechnology, Histotechnology (Medical Laboratory Science) or related field

Associate’s Degree in Medical (Clinical) Laboratory Technology or related field

2. Current licensure as required by the state in which services will be provided:

Responsibilities

1. Demonstrate competency in service to different patient populations such as; Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics.
2. Knowledge in both medical technology and management principles.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Must be willing to work at both Princeton and Bluefield Campus's and be willing to work any shift when urgent situations arise.

Call hours as appropriate

Oversees staff and assures staff competency in assigned areas.
